Ok Easter is over. It’s now officially time to throw away all of the leftover candy. I must get rid of these jelly beans!
I’m ok with throwing candy out. It’s the Peeps I have a problem with. They are so cute and innocent looking and they only show up once a year. I have a hard time convincing myself to toss them. I’d rather Nuke em. Seriously.
Microwaved Peeps are delicious. Today my son asked for some Nutella on graham crackers as a treat and the idea hit me. Nuke a Peep and make an Easter S’More.
Oooohhh Boy. This is going to become an Easter classic at my house. Glad I only have a couple of Peeps left because this is addictive.
Easter Peeps S’more
2 Graham Crackers
Nutella
2 Peeps
Spread a thick coating of Nutella on both sides of the graham crackers. Stick a fork in your Peeps a couple of times and microwave for 15 seconds. Make a sandwich and swoon with delight.
too bad there aren’t Star Wars theme’d Peeps. if there were you could make something called “Han Peep frozen in Gram -o-nite.”
Haha John that is a great idea and would fit right in with the SW cookbook we have. I do have a good SW dessert to make though never fear:-)
